She made a name for herself she can be independent and get the perks. She can still make money in other ways and live the same life she always has if she continue to work. Kim already has done that, she doesn’t need to prove that. Worrying about billboard is for ppl who are on a major label and want the come up to be highly popular. As an independent artist which Kim is, that money goes straight to her if she own the music. Do you not understand an artist can rack up hundred thousand and more just from streams on places like spotify for example and other media outlets. Do you guys not get that charting on the other ones also bring in money. Ppl are so fixed on billboard 200 as if that what makes an artist successful. This is only the second weeks and if you check wikipedia, it has the billboard chart numbers.
